In a photo dated April, 1988 a ring-tailed lemur infant, standing on its mother’s back, stretches for a dogwood flower. This group of Lemur catta lived in NHE 2 and consisted of 33 animals (23 males, 10 females), far larger than any group housed at the Center today. There were four infants born into the group that year, so positive ID of this little guy is impossible!
