The DLC’s 2016 ruffed lemur infants (two sets of twins) are one month old today! Black-and-white ruffed female Halley (only three years old) gave birth to her first infants (boys named Cosmo and Astro) on June 8th. On the same day, five year old red-ruffed Pandora gave birth to her fourth and fifth infants (a boy and a girl) named Kalani and Sally. All infants are thriving and have been introduced to their sires, and for the red-ruffs, their siblings. The infants are still too young to spend nights in outdoor housing, so each afternoon technicians gather them up from their outdoor cages and bring them in for the night, making for a perfect photo op!
