Kizzy’s black and white ruffed lemur group forages on redbud flowers on a gorgeous Spring day. All of the tasty pink blossoms within easy reach are quickly devoured, after which time more extreme dangling positions become necessary. The ruffed lemur’s ability to hang by their toes leaves them hands-free to grab a branch full of flowers – a great adaptation for life in the treetops.
